Hi I have very good experience in testing application is different mobile devices. Have been testing & delivering the test results/bug report for mobile applications from past 3 years.My approach would be:
1. Install the application in different mobile devices and report bugs
2. Test GUI,UX,Functionality and report bugs
3. Test the install logs and entire logs and report bugs
4. Test the application in different resolutions in the device and report bugs
5. Conduct security testing and report bugs
6. Uninstall the application and report bugs
7. Provide suggestions to improve the application quality and improve the app GUI
8. Verify the bugs once they are fixed and re test the application and report bugs if any introduced because of the bugs fixed.
9. Check the application consistency & report bugs
10. Signoff
