About me
I am a freelance solicitor who specialises in providing detailed reports on auction legal packs and property advice. When buying a property at auction, it is essential you are aware of the risks involved. This is particularly important because you are contractually bound to complete the purchase as soon as the hammer falls. I can take some of the anxiety out of the process for you with an affordable and comprehensive review report. You won't find better value for money anywhere else, just take a look at my 100% feedback.
I also write Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policies (including GDPR and Cookies) for websites, which are fully legally checked and edited to the highest standards, ensuring your website meets the compliance criteria for your sector.
In addition, I write legal blogs and articles, and other creative work. My first piece was published in The Guardian under their A Letter To... section in an issue of their family weekend supplement. I won the public vote in the Theatre Cloud comedy project competition in 2017, and have been long-listed and placed in a variety of other writing competitions since. I was a finalist in The Edinburgh International Flash Fiction Competition in 2018 and received a commendation for my work.
Published pieces include: The Drabble, Cabinet of Heed, Reflex Fiction, Ad Hoc Fiction, Moonchild Magazine, Paragraph Planet, and Ellispis Zine. You can find writing examples and citations/links to my work on my website at www.debbietaggio.wordpress.com
This year, I have been published in two print anthologies in June: And We Pass Through published by National Flash Fiction Day, and the Desperation Game (and Other Stories) published by The Scottish Arts Trust. I have a forthcoming publication with Palm Sized Press due out in early 2020.
I completed an MA in Creative Writing with Birmingham City University receiving a Masters with Commendation. I am in the process of completing a novella-in-flash and have started writing my first full length novel.
