About me
Hello, my name is Steven Bradshaw and I'm a WordPress theme and plugin developer. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile here on PeoplePerHour.
I offer both adhoc and complete website build services. Whether you require a website expert to work with you from concept to launch, or if you require modifications to an existing website, I'm here to help.
Working on projects both big and small, I have experience of fulfilling projects from concept to launch. During the last 15 years I've worked with agencies, companies and individuals through PeoplePerHour.
Some projects are for large multi-national companies. Such as the sister company of Tesco PLC, who commissioned me to I built their corporate website. I've also built a bespoke events management system for the digital team behind the UK City of Culture 2017, which was administered by the Department for Culture Media & Sport. High end clients include a Canary Wharf corporate concierge company and a commercial property investment company.
A recent sizable project was the new Garden Waste website for East Hertfordshire Council. This was bespoke eCommerce system built upon WordPress, rather than using WooCommerce, and was coded to a complex set of requirements. Within less than 3 weeks from launch the website has processed over 10,000 transactions from over 11,000 new customer registrations. This resulted in a turnover of over £480,000 through the website in this short amount of time. The project and launch has been a success and I'm enjoying working with the customer. Over time the website is further improved and maintained to their requirements.
I've also built websites for a large number of small businesses, start-ups and individuals. From an established Scottish smokehouse who wanted to launch a new eCommerce website for online ordering to independent clothing stores who wanted to start selling their fashion lines on the web.
Moving on from corporate or eCommerce websites, I've also undertaken projects with more bespoke and complex requirements. Such as building a custom booking system for a chain of London gyms. Here customers were able to book sessions with their selected personal trainer and pay online. With gym staff able to manage this in a custom back end.
I've now specialised in WordPress for 15 years. The system has grown from a humble blogging platform to a powerful piece of web software that is used for complex websites and apps. WordPress is now a force to be reckoned with. It was a wise choice when I chose to use this exclusively all those years ago. It's head and shoulders above the other CMS (Content Management Systems) on the web achieving 70% market share. It now powers close to 1 in 4 websites on the web. And 30% of eCommerce transactions take place on a website powered by it too.
With daily experience of building websites from the ground up, as well as modifications to existing websites, I can complete your project on time and on budget.
Get in touch anytime, I'm available 7 days a week to discuss projects.
