About me
EDITING, WRITING, MEDICAL CONTENT, WEBSITE CONTENT, BLOGGING, FORUM ENTRIES, TRAINING, READ ON!
With an absolute passion for creativity in whatever genre I am working in, I am a very experienced ghost-writer with many fiction, non-fiction and biographical projects completed for a wide variety of clients from many different parts of the world. I also specialise in writing for children and have had my own series of children's stories recorded as audiobooks by Shortalk, as well as completing projects for clients in PPH in this genre. Check out my PPH feedback!
I am also an experienced tutor and coach.
I regularly write courses for the health sector, in particular for nursing homes, etc.
I worked with artist Kris Kuksi in the USA to work on the copy for the catalogue for his exhibition in New York.
I was interviewed on BBC Radio 4 about the work I do through PPH. The interview can be heard under the 'press' section of this site.
I have, in recent months, established contact with two publishers; one for self-published works and the other for consideration of agency publication. Two of my clients have recently had books that I ghostwrote for them published.
I also write fiction and on health and lifestyle for National magazines and for corporate clients and have recently been appointed the contributing editor of the Police's in-house magazine. I am an expert at website SEO and keyword content and a regular contributor to various websites' content, forums and blogs.
I am passionate about the work I do and the creativity I offer to my clients. I have a light touch with my writing and can handle tragedy and triumph with equal sensitivity and understanding. I have lived abroad and worked with all sorts of interesting people. I know I have a lot to offer and you will too if you choose me for your project!
I also broadcast for both National and local radio and make regular appearances on the Jeremy Vine show (BBC Radio 2, weekdays 12-PM) as a guest speaker.
I am the chair of trustees for a Bristol and Glasgow-based charity called Arkbound. This is a publishing charity that helps people who would not usually be able to access publishing services. We help them through from concept to editing and publishing, along with publicity.
TRAINING
I am a well-travelled writer with many years of experience, and have never missed a deadline! I am easy to work with and where any artistic or creative differences occur, I am always aware that the project is the client's and not mine! No Diva behaviour here!
I am the last word in organisational ability and have undertaken work in that field as well, mainly because I just could not help myself! Reliable, dependable, inspired and full of ideas, that's me! I keep my fees lower than the industry average because I would rather be busy than exclusive.
I have my own website and work from there to write life stories for people.
