I have worked variously as an online journalist, SEO expert, blogger and scriptwriter. I've written news articles, blogs, video scripts, whitepapers and more general website content for companies with different goals and in a wide variety of sectors.

2011 – 2023 – Freelance writer

Ghost wrote features on the use of technology in business for a Financial Times supplement.

Wrote blogs and news articles for the UK’s leading corporate rescue company.

Covered range of startup business topics and alternative funding solutions in blog and news form for several associated websites.

Worked on creating wide range of written material for a web-based education and collaboration platform focussed on SEO, social media and inbound marketing. Drafted educational material, landing pages, video scripts and FAQs on these subjects.

Wrote and proofread blogs, whitepapers, website content and marketing materials for British accounting and finance firm, and for a property search engine website.

Served as a full-time reporter for a corporate finance magazine and website called CFO World UK, part of IDG Communications.

2008 – 2010 Scriptwriter

Worked as a scriptwriter for a number of video production companies and honed my skills as a freelance blogger and a web content creator. Wrote for What House UK and for the websites of numerous small businesses.

2006 – 2008 News Correspondent

Worked full-time as an Online News Correspondent and SEO content writer for a marketing-focussed news company based in the UK. Responsible for researching, writing and publishing up to 25 articles per day on a huge range of subjects.
